Travel Vaccine and Medicine Checklist

Vaccines verify karo aur apni bharose waali Indian dawaiyan pack karo — flight se pehle. Kyunki pet kharab hone ke baad Google Translate pe "loose motion" type karna ek aisa experience hai jiski zaroorat kisi ko nahi.

1. Recommended Vaccinations

Get these done at least 2 weeks before your flight at any local travel clinic or hospital in India.

2. Indian First-Aid & Medicine Brands

Pack these in a transparent ziploc bag. They are cheap, available over-the-counter in India, and crucial on the road.

Doctor's Orders

  • Yellow Fever Rule: Indian passport holders *only* need a Yellow Fever vaccination certificate if they are arriving from or have recently transited through a Yellow Fever endemic country (Africa/South America). Coming from India, it is **not checked**.
  • Avomine is Essential: The mountain highway between Vang Vieng and Luang Prabang in Laos has over 1,000 curves and switchbacks. Even if you don't get motion sick normally, take one Avomine 30 mins before boarding.
  • Probiotics & ORS: Stomach bugs (Delhi Belly / Bangkok Belly) occur due to different bacteria cultures. Start a daily probiotic 5 days before your trip to strengthen your gut. Pack 10-15 packets of ORS (Electral) to stay hydrated if sick.
