This is the order I run it in: Old Town first, beach midday, viewpoint late afternoon, dinner with sunset. It saves you from backtracking across the island and lets you end near the airport or Patong if you are moving on that night.
7:00 AM to 9:00 AM: Phuket Old Town on foot
Start in Phuket Old Town, the Sino-Portuguese shophouse quarter that most beach-bound tourists never see. Thalang Road, Soi Romanee, and Dibuk Road have the best preserved lanes, painted in faded yellows, pinks, and greens.
